She is now known as Alex Rose in Kindergarten and possibly for her entire school life. There happened to be two Alexandras in her class with last names starting with M, and both go by Alex. Then the teacher decided to call Alexandra, Alex Rose...
And she likes her new name! She doesn't mind it at all and even said that she also wouldn't mind it if we started calling her Alex Rose at home.
Alex Rose continues to enjoy Kindergarten. Whenever I pick her up, she'd often say "There's so many things to tell you!", although sometimes she forgets some of the events, songs and activities until days later. Aren't kids funny that way?
And this week she is the "Star of the Week"! She gets to put her "About Me" poster up and do show and tell. This was all very exciting to her.
