A Visit To The Zoo

We visited a new zoo, called the Ark Avilon Zoo and it is only a few minutes away from where we are staying in Eastwood. I haven't been there before and it's supposed to be a smaller version of another good zoo located in Rizal. The mini zoo was surprisingly impressive for its size. It had a good amount and variety of animals to see from different kinds of sea creatures, birds, beautifully colored lizards, and some big mammals. Zach saw a jaguar, which he says is his favorite animal (still a fan of the Diego show), and the kids were fascinated with the white tiger. The zoo had some animals freely walking around the area like some fowls and other exotic looking birds. There were even some animals being walked around by their handlers, and so David and Alex got to (very briefly) pet a tiger cub and David was able to hold an Orangutan. It was a good visit.
