It doesn't rain much where we live. Here, when it rains, people panic, even if it's just drizzling. It's funny how a little bit of rain becomes top news on TV, really! The reporters even interview the people on the street what they think about the rain! Out of towners make fun of people here, because of this.
Well it rained all day long that day and Alexandra wanted to stay out a little bit longer after coming home from school (she's been looking forward to using her umbrella ). It was pouring. My neglected plants on the dry area of our yard finally got more than enough water to last them til next summer! I'd like to think they're now happily quenched and satisfied. The weather is finally starting to cool down. The rain has come and we love it!
