We did another hike at a trail just a few minutes drive up our main street going towards the mountains. The trail apparently has been there for awhile but we never knew about it and how close it was until recently when we heard of its grand re-opening after some improvements.
The hike's terrain this time was more to David's liking, that is, desert-like! Alex and Zach did fine except for going uphill when they seriously thought they were so tired that they were willing to give up. But sure enough, they were back to their normal perky selves on the flat and downhill sections, completely forgetting how tired they said they were. They had fun looking at our neighborhood from up there.
There were plenty of kids and they all enjoyed crossing this bridge.
Zach said that it wouldn't be a good idea to live in this house.
