Thanksgiving 2009

.....Turkey in my tummy, what do you say,
Turkey in my tummy, what do you say,
Turkey in my tummy, what do you say,
I ate too much on Thanksgiving day!

And that's how the song ended during Zach's preschool thanksgiving night, in which he sang with so much emotion, rubbing his belly and struggling to sing as if he really was too full.

Grandma and Pop-Pop came to California to spend Thanksgiving holiday with us. The kids were thrilled, they missed their grandparents so much.

Grandma got a sneak peak of Alex's kindergarten life. She and I volunteered to help at Alex's kindergarten Thanksgiving event where the kids made cornbread, soup, and Thanksgiving crafts. The teachers asked the kids whether they wanted to be an Indian or a Pilgrim for the day, and Alex chose to be an Indian.

Pop-Pop went to be with Zach on his preschool's Thanksgiving night where they served food the kids prepared.

On Thanksgiving Day, Zach said he was thankful for his family and Alex had a whole list of things to be thankful for. Dinner was excellently prepared by David, and it was just lovely.

We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving!
