The kids woke up searching for a leprechaun on St. Patrick's Day morning. They were anticipating all the St. Patrick's Day activities at their schools. I do not know much of the holiday since I don't recall celebrating it where I grew up, so the kids have been filling me in with details. They told me that the leprechaun could come and visit and sometimes make a mess of things. So they went looking early in the morning going to each room in the house. The living room looked messy, the leprechaun could have been in there. They went in the kitchen and it looked messy too, but they were still not convinced. Determined, they looked inside the refrigerator and Alex was sure the leprechaun had been in there! Apparently, this is one holiday where I do not have to do anything to celebrate. :-)
