Back to School

It was back to school on August 10th for our family. Alexandra had her first day in Kindergarten! She looked forward to it, but the mornings are tough not being a morning person. And that's speaking for the both us. :-)

It has been two weeks of school, and so far she is enjoying all the activities, her teacher and her classmates. She has gotten used to the routine at school as if she has been in Kindergarten for months. I don't think I have even fully adjusted to this new schedule yet!

Zach was quite uncomfortable not having Alexandra around at preschool anymore. His older bestfriends are not there anymore, too. There was a good number of new kids making his school different and new. He's adjusting better each day, I think. He is elated at the idea that he is now in Pre-K and is one of the big kids.

Ready to walk to school

Zach somehow got the impression at school that he wasn't in Pre-K yet so he wanted me to make this sign and post it at school so everybody will know that he is one of the "big kids".
