Bug Fair At The National History Museum

Monday, May 18, 2009

They let kids touch tarantulas and scorpions, silkworms and centipedes, and many kids dared to do it. Alex and Zach were not among them. They'd rather watch and pick up rollie pollies and ants that live back home. The highlight of the day was the caterpillar we bought, which we hope to witness going through the whole process of turning into a butterfly in the next few weeks. With the way the kids are handling the caterpillar's home, I sure do hope he makes it!
