We brought the kids to the Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival. It was our first time to attend. Though we have heard of this festival before, we kept missing it. This year we finally made it and it was fun. They had an entire field filled with pumpkins and plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. Many families came and took advantage of the perfect setting for a fall photo. I am sure we were in the background of many families' photos just as they were in ours.
Alex and Zach had fun picking their pumpkins. And once they found the perfect one, they got very attached.

They picked medium-sized pumpkins, but they were so heavy their knees were buckling.

I saw Zach drumming on a pumpkin, of course!

And we snacked on delicious pumpkin bread.

We went on the kids' very first corn maze! (Oh, and mine too!)

It was dizzying!

That is the corn maze in the background.

We had a very mild summer with only a few days of brutally hot weather. This week has been cool, gray and sometimes raining. I suppose that's fall saying hello!
