Last year, our pumpkins got so moldy and icky inside after a few days of carving them into Jack O' Lanterns that they didn't make it to Halloween. ( Any suggestions on getting them to last longer?) We got pumpkins early this month, so I thought I'll just carve them as it gets closer to Halloween day. For the meantime, we're using cut-out face parts and gluing them onto the pumpkins.
But there were just too many interesting choices and combinations of face parts for Alex that she had a hard time deciding which ones to put on. So she suggested creating two faces -- a scary one on one side and a nice one on the other, why not. Alex took her time with her pumpkin. After awhile, she changed her mind and decided to have 3 faces instead.
The photo above is Zach's creation and below is Alex's.
