Zach's First Taste Of Homework

He began with lots of goofing around, and then followed by some whining over this overwhelming task....

 

But after he got involved, he became very determined to finish his work.

We're in our second month of school and homework time has gotten easier.  One time, David brought him to Alex's My Gym class. Zach brought his homework to keep him busy.  David told me that there was a boy who asked Zach to play with him and Zach told the boy: "I can't play yet because I have to finish my homework, but I'll be done soon and I can play then".  David and I were so impressed.  I can't believe those words came out of Zach's mouth. He looks much too little and is too squeaky-voiced to say such grown up things! I wish I had heard it.
