Alex Turns 6

Last week, Alex turned 6! We brought cookies to her class and took pictures of her and her friends during recess. She was playing jump rope in the photo below.

Then we took the kids to Disneyland and stayed there until evening.

The next day, she had her birthday party at our local My Gym. They usually put a big birthday hat on the celebrant when they sing happy birthday. Instead of a hat, I made her a flower tiara for her flower-themed party.

She thought long and hard on her wish before she blew out her candles.

Later she told us her wish was for her party to be fun.
