Girl Parties

One problem with having an all girl party is:  what to do with the boy sibling.  Zach wasn't thrilled with the idea when we started planning for this party.  David thought that Alex shouldn't miss out on having girl parties just because she has a brother.   So that was it.  We decided to invite Zach's close friend so he wouldn't feel left out.  But as it turned out, and to my surprise, it wasn't a problem at all. 

First, he asked if he could have a hat and a flower to go with it, like the girls had.

Then, he joined the group to bead a bracelet for himself and his toy dog, Brubruno. 

And Brubruno (his spotted dog) even joined for tea.

Well ok, everything was going so well until he got a pink necklace for a prize.  And losing a game.  And falling on his bum.  Life was then a little tough amongst the 8 year old girls.
