Summer went by so fast. Alex and Zach started school last week. Zach wasn't too sure about first grade at first. He was so used to his kindergarten friends and teacher that he didn't want to change any of it. I could tell that he was nervous, but after he learned that his teacher was going to be the mom of his friend from Kindergarten, whom he had already met, he finally relaxed and looked forward to first grade more.
I could imagine all the nerves going on with these former kindergarteners. This group of Zach's kindergarten classmates were all hugging and happy when they found each other in the same first grade class. They were just too cute.

The first graders still look like kindergarteners, I'm sure that won't be for long. The next photo is of Alex and her best friend, who are happy to be both in the same second grade class.
They have been doing well so far.
